In the work I produce I aim to communicate a topic I have selected through

visual and textual research. These gathered sources are then transformed

into various pieces of artwork through different methods of printmaking

and collage.
The investigation of the Scarab Beetle led to exploration of line and scale

with some pieces that concentrate on the simplistic structure of the amulet

and others that show the detail they can behold up close. Pieces of artwork

and sketchbook pages are usually scanned or photographed to enhance the

textures on the surface. Photoshop is sometimes used in my work to

produce finalised page layouts for possible book ideas, or set as individual

finished pieces to mount.
