I enjoy producing images to generate awareness of a particular subject or issue. I chose to research into Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) for myself directed project. As well as raising awareness for possible sufferers, I wanted to allow non-sufferers to experience what it might feel like to have OCD. In order to achieve this I have produced an interactive book highlighting some of the most common obsessions and compulsions. Quotes found from key research sources give a firsthand insight into how OCD makes them feel. Interactive elements including lift-flaps, pull-strips, switches, and games allow the viewer to act out some of the compulsions experienced by sufferers. I enjoy using mixed media in my work including collage, hand-drawn imagery, and computer programs including Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
In February 2010 I was delighted to have won a national competition to design the show guide cover for a trade exhibition at the International

Festival of Stamps for major stamp dealer and philatelic publisher Stanley Gibbons.
