Over the course of the degree I have tried to explore other ways of working which has forced me to create in a more instinctive way. Within

my work I use both modern and traditional methods of creating images, from Photoshop and Painter, to old techniques such as drawing and oil

painting. I admire all forms of art; I draw my inspiration from films and works of directors with an eye for imaginative worlds.
My degree work explores the beauty of the human form. Flesh and physical appearance has become more important to people today than inner-

happiness and spirit. My aim was to celebrate themes of human anatomy and compare them with burlesque attributes. Also how the human flesh is delicate and vulnerable, and how Flesh becomes a ‘decorative symbol’.
